The primary aim of this group is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for young individuals who are dealing with anxiety and/or depression to share thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences in an environment that fosters understanding and empathy. By doing so, the group seeks to build strong connections among participants, reduce feelings of isolation, and actively promote mental wellness. This supportive community will achieve these goals through a variety of means, including: Peer Support: By connecting with others who face similar challenges, participants can find comfort in shared experiences and learn from one another. Psychoeducation: During informative sessions, members will gain valuable insights into mental health, helping them understand their conditions better and empowering them to manage them effectively. Healthy Coping Strategies: The group will explore and practice various techniques aimed at enhancing emotional resilience and equipping individuals with tools to handle life's stresses with grace.

Emotional regulation: Assisting children in learning how to manage their emotions effectively, enabling them to respond to situations in a balanced manner. Social interaction: Providing opportunities for children to enhance their communication skills, engage with peers, and build meaningful relationships. This 3-hour introduction to Terry Real's Relational Life Therapy (RLT) approach to parenting is designed to equip parents and caregivers with practical tools for staying connected to their children, even in the hardest moments. The intensive will cover concepts from the RLT modality designed to help parents understand how to raise their children to become adults that are better able to communicate, connect to themselves and others, and maintain appropriate relationships throughout every life stage. The program will also explore ideas around co-parenting, boundary setting, and the influence that ones own upbringing may have on the way they raise their children.
